The Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region (RRA LUR) comprises twenty-six municipalities in central Slovenia and encourages connecting and developing partnership networks among various stakeholders whose activities bolster the region’s sustainable development. The agency plans and implements regional development programmes and provides, alongside the municipalities and other actors of development in the region, developmental, educational, financial, entrepreneurial, environmental and social infrastructure needed for the region’s development. In the spring of 2012, a Regional Creative Economy Centre (RCKE) was established within the framework of RRA LUR. With its activities centre positively contributes to the introduction of creativity into the public and private sectors; by setting up complex value chains, it participates in the development of products and services with high added value that provide the end users a better and more pleasant life.
