The main task of the Ministry of Public Administratiron is to optimize and ensure resources needed by other ministries and wider public sector in order to provide efficient and high quality public services to its citizens. Within this framework, the Ministry of Public Administration covers several areas, such as regulatory and organizational aspect of public sector, coordination of HRM policies, state informatics, quality of public administration, public procurement, management of state-owned assets, integrity and prevention of corruption in public sector, better regulation, reduction of administrative burdens and development of local self-government and non-governmental organizations. The Ministry is responsible for regulation and development of listed areas with emphasis on better and more active cooperation and communication between different stakeholders (public administration institutions, public service providers, NGOs, private sector entities, etc.) as well as for identification and implementation of good practices and innovative approaches in all related fields.
