Understanding The Value of Creative Industries For Economic Growth

During the data visualization pilot workshop in Ljubljana between 5 – 10 Oct 2014 focus was placed on the understanding of potential for development within the creative industries.

The outcomes of the workshop revealed particular perspectives which were not clearly
apparent before and pointed out that classification of the various creative industries is incoherent and therefore proves difficult for gathering and analyzing data.
To influence the impact of creative fields in the future, we must change the perspective on the meaning of the creative work force in society and nurture it to its fullest potential.

We, the Data Design Biotop team, are proposing to explore further the possibilities within all levels of decision-making processes, so as to reconsider the strategic and tactical approaches to fund different actions that boost creative forces in our country for a better economic future.

The future lies in a creative, innovative and open society.
