Interesting content for all fields of design, business, management, public and private sector, architecture and urbanism, social studies, public sector, professionals from different fields interested in how the topic of conference relate to creative problem solving and to all interested in housing, inclusion, participation workshops and so on.

Free of charge with pre-registration needed.
One day conference program and workshops on May 24th are open to public with mandatory registration. 

Pre- and post-conference events on May 23rd & May 25th are for closed groups only.

When registering for the event please bear in mind that you can only register for one workshop since all of them are taking place at the same time. In case of receiving a registration for more than one workshop we reserve the right to distribute the participants with multiple inputs according to available spaces.


This year’s Design Biotop explored the importance of finding creative and inclusive solutions for better economic and social impact on the city development taking sustainability as the core of the development. The content of workshops were organized together with Future Architecture Platform.

On the first day two workshops took place; Design and Policy: The role of inclusive, participatory decision-making for affordable housing at Ljubljana Town Hall, Ljubljana and Step on it! Callout for ideas and projects Feedback ideation session based on pitch presentations at Pritličje, Ljubljana.

The second day of the program consisted of conference program and workshops held at Museum of Architecture and Design.
